A memorial service is held without your loved one present, which lifts the pressure of a fixed date. You can hold it a week later or a month later, whenever the people who matter are able to be there.
Our chapel is available for memorial services, and we can just as easily coordinate one at your church or another location that means something to your family. We take care of the room, the flowers, the photographs, the guest register book, and the details of the program so your family can spend the day with the people who came.
A Celebration of Life
A celebration of life leans toward the joy in a person's story rather than the loss. These gatherings can be held anywhere, in a garden, a clubhouse, a favorite restaurant, or a family backyard, and they often look nothing like a conventional service.
Families have built celebrations around a favorite meal, a beloved hobby, a color everyone was asked to wear, or a slideshow that ran all afternoon. There is no wrong way to do it. We will handle the coordination and the logistics so the day belongs to your family rather than to a schedule.
Tributes That Last Beyond the Day
Every family we serve receives a customized online memorial where the obituary and photographs live permanently. Visitors can post condolences, share their own memories, upload photos, and light a candle in your loved one's honor, which matters a great deal to friends who could not travel.
We can also produce a personal tribute video from photographs you provide, to be played at the service and shared online afterward. Service dates and times are posted to the online memorial as well, so you can share one link instead of repeating the details to everyone who asks.
