Cremation with a Service

Choosing cremation does not mean giving up a meaningful farewell. Many of the families we serve want the same gathering they would have had with a burial, and cremation only changes when and where it can be held. We offer two of these arrangements. One is a memorial ceremony held after the cremation, with the date left open so everyone can be there. The other includes a visitation with your loved one present, followed by the funeral ceremony, with the cremation afterward. Call us at (561) 557-4739 and we will explain the difference plainly.

Cremation with a Memorial Ceremony

A memorial ceremony is a service held in your loved one's honor without the body present, which means the date is entirely up to you. Families often choose this when relatives are flying in from out of state, or when an earlier date would leave people out. The service runs about two hours and can be held in our chapel here on Okeechobee Boulevard or at a location of your choosing. It includes a guest register book, an online customized obituary page, and a keepsake tribute video that we produce from photographs you provide, which can be played at the service and shared afterward.

Cremation with Funeral Ceremony and Visitation

Some families want the chance to see their loved one one last time before the cremation takes place. This arrangement makes that possible. It includes professional care, embalming and preparation, a standard rental casket, and use of our chapel or an alternate location for both the visitation and the ceremony. The ceremony runs about two hours and can take place at our chapel, your church, or another location that carries meaning for your family. Cremation follows the service. A guest register book, an online obituary page, and a keepsake tribute video are all included, and our director and staff coordinate the entire day.

What Comes With Either Choice

Both arrangements include a guest register book, so your family keeps a lasting record of everyone who came, and a customized online memorial where the obituary and photographs live permanently. Visitors can post condolences, share their own memories, upload photos, and light a candle in your loved one's honor. Both also include a keepsake tribute video built from photographs your family provides. Our staff takes care of the room, the flowers, the order of service, and the coordination with clergy or family speakers, so the day belongs to the people who came rather than to a schedule.
